Projection runtime is 10mins – repeated every 15mins. Please note the time slot is for an approximate viewing time.
After viewing the projections at Nenagh Arts Centre head over to the Nenagh Castle grounds to see Solas – A light installation by Joe Geaney.
‘Solas’, The Irish word for ‘Light’ is a visual installation incorporating the use of LED bars. The use of the word ‘Light’ in connection to the piece is both metaphorical as a sense of hope but also as a physical presence that the viewer can observe.
The audience may walk through the castle grounds and reflect at the beacon of lights as they pass through. The lights will sync and un-sync in relation to each other. This ebb and flow is much like the patterns in our own lives.
