National Drawing Day Workshop for Adults – Saturday 14th May, 2pm – 4.30pm – TIckets: FREE but Booking is Essential
Join artist, Nathalie El Baba, in this workshop exploring loose responsive drawing techniques using Indian Ink and sticks as drawing tools.
No previous experience is necessary. Come with an open curiosity and let this beautiful medium lead you to unexpected results.
About the artist:
Nathalie El Baba’s art practice combines making drawing, painting, mixed media and mural work with her interest in working with communities. She is particularly interested in exploring narratives in peoples lives, most notably around immigration and belonging. Based in Co. Clare, Nathalie has been the recipient of many residencies in Youth Arts and Arts in Education, has worked extensively with older people in community and healthcare settings and has exhibited her artwork in both solo and group shows in Ireland and Cyprus.
- All over 16s are welcome and no previous experience is necessary.
- All materials will be provided.
- The workshop is free to attend, thanks to support from the Arts Council for community art
