Join songwriter and facilitator David Hope for a unique creative workshop exploring nature, climate change and the future of our local environment through music.
Beginning with a visit to Nenagh Castle Garden, participants will spend time observing, listening and gathering inspiration from the natural world around them. Back at Nenagh Arts Centre, these ideas will be transformed into an original song, created collaboratively with David through songwriting, discussion and creative exploration.
The workshop will conclude with a short informal performance for parents, family members and the wider community, showcasing the song created during the day. The piece will also be recorded and shared online, helping to spark conversation around environmental awareness and climate action.
Whether you’re a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist or simply curious about making music, this workshop offers a welcoming space to explore creativity, connect with nature and collaborate with others.
Participants who play an instrument are encouraged to bring it along, but no previous musical experience is necessary.
