Our Heritage, Our History, Our Home, Saturdays 12th July – 2nd August, 11am – 2pm, FREE
‘Our Heritage, Our History, Our Home’ is an opportunity for young people aged 12-18 to explore Nenagh, local history and local stories. Facilitated by Nenagh Youth Theatre’s Calvin Magee and Youth Theatre Ireland’s Barry Morgan, this is a creative writing for performance project that will make you think of creative writing in a whole different way.
We will be working together to create performance pieces inspired by local landmarks and historical figures/events. The final session will include an optional sharing of work in front of an audience.
All young people aged 11+ are welcome and this project is open to young people who are currently not members of NYT, no previous experience needed.

There is no fee for this programme. Project is funded by Creative Ireland.
