This workshop is entirely FREE but spaces are extremely limited so booking is essential.
Wendy Austin-Rawlings is a visual artist using various mediums.
She has had over 11 years experience needle felting in both 2D and 3D sculptural formats. She turns simple wool roving into works of art. She leans towards the photorealistic but loves some colourful whimsy too.
Wendy’s work has won various show prizes over the years and has been sold to people across the globe. Her work has featured in a mixed media exhibition recently in Tipperary Town.
In this class she will teach you the basics about the tools used, different types of wool and the techniques of turning wool roving into usable shapes.
These techniques will give you a completed project in the class but leave you with skills that you can apply to all your future sculptural needle felting projects.
