As part of the Bealtaine Festival, this hands on workshop invites participants to transform everyday plastic waste into beautiful, imaginative blooms.
Plastic Petals explores themes of creativity, sustainability and renewal, encouraging participants to rethink single use materials through an eco-arts approach. Using plastic containers and bottles, you’ll create colourful, sculptural flowers while engaging in discussion around Bealtaine, environmental awareness and the role of creativity in supporting a greener future.
This relaxed and social workshop is suitable for all skill levels and offers a rewarding way to connect with both creativity and sustainability.
Participants are encouraged to bring along clean plastic bottles or containers (such as 2-litre milk bottles, any colour) if they have them – additional materials will also be provided.
