Calling all young sleuths! Junior Detectives Camp is a lively, interactive detective workshop where children get to step examine the evidence to solve find a missing painting! Includes clue-breaking, fingerprint taking and reading. Young detectives will learn how to crack clues, examine evidence, create suspects and motives, and put their powers of observation to the test. Led by crime writer Fiona Sherlock, the session combines storytelling, puzzles and hands-on detective challenges, with plenty of imagination and fun along the way. Age 8+, max 20 participants.
Fiona Sherlock is an Irish crime writer, journalist and creative writing facilitator based in County Meath. She is the author of Twelve Motives for Murder, Death Visits January and Supper for Six, and her writing has appeared in publications including The Irish Times, The Guardian and The Sunday Independent. A former Meath Writer-in-Residence, Fiona recently completed an MSt in Creative Writing at the University of Cambridge. She loves introducing younger readers to the fun of mysteries, clues and storytelling.
