Join us at Nenagh Arts Centre for a special celebration of Ireland’s national instrument as part of Harp Day | Lá na Cruite 2026, the annual nationwide initiative coordinated by Harp Ireland.
The day begins with a workshop led by acclaimed harpist, tutor and performer Cathy Potter from Ennis, Co. Clare. Designed for intermediate harp players with at least two years’ playing experience, the workshop will offer participants an opportunity to develop their technique, expand their repertoire and enjoy learning alongside fellow harp enthusiasts.
Following the workshop, Cathy will present a recital open to the public, showcasing the beauty, versatility and rich traditions of the Irish harp.
Whether you are taking part in the workshop or attending the recital, this promises to be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Ireland’s harp heritage and connect with fellow music lovers.
Workshop: 12 noon – 2pm
Recital: 2:30pm – 3:30pm
Workshop requirements: Participants should have a minimum of two years’ playing experience and must bring their own instrument.
