Fresh from the acclaimed release of Róisín ReImagined, award-winning singer Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh brings a special trio performance to Nenagh Arts Centre, joined by celebrated musicians Dónal O’Connor (fiddle, keyboards, vocals) and Gerry O’Beirne (guitar, vocals).
A leading voice in Irish traditional music and RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Singer of the Year 2022, Muireann is renowned for her expressive interpretations of both Irish and English-language songs. In this engaging live performance, the trio present a rich and varied programme blending traditional song, contemporary arrangements and lively instrumental pieces.
Together they create an intimate and uplifting concert experience, marked by exceptional musicianship and a warm rapport with audiences.
Muireann first rose to prominence as lead singer and flute player with the celebrated traditional group Danú, and has since built an acclaimed career as a solo artist, broadcaster and collaborator across traditional, classical and world music.
