
National Drawing Day Workshop with Seán Ferry, Saturday 17th May, 2:30pm – 4:30pm, €20
National Drawing Day is a celebration of drawing and all things mark-making, with over 60 museums, galleries, arts organisations and libraries taking part this year on 17th May. Join us for an adults drawing workshop hosted by local artist, Seán Ferry.
Seán Ferry is a 20-year-old art student from Nenagh- Tipperary, currently studying Painting and Fine Art at the Limerick School of Art and Design. He practices mainly in oil paint with his work being featured in various student exhibitions and shows across Limerick City. His work includes still lifes and landscapes but specializes in portraits and people.
Drawing is a very important infrastructure in creating any type of art.



Materials : Willow charcoal and paper will be provided but we ask participants to bring their own pencils and erasers
This class aims to enhance technical drawing skills and explore how to see objects and the real world as an artist, through shape, form and line.
Drawing acts as an invaluable foundation for limitless creative possibilities.
