Nenagh Arts Centre is delighted to present SEAMS IN MY SOCKS, an innovative short film exploring neurodiversity through personal experiences of autism, stimming, sensory sensitivities, misophonia and OCD.
Presented in the Echo Corridor Gallery Space, this immersive 8-minute film offers audiences a unique insight into the lived experiences of neurodivergent individuals, encouraging greater understanding, empathy and conversation. Combining text, music, narration and moving image, the work invites viewers to engage with perspectives that are often overlooked or misunderstood.
Originally conceived as a live performance work by author and performer Yonit Kosovske in collaboration with composer Justin Grounds, SEAMS IN MY SOCKS has evolved into a powerful interdisciplinary film project that brings together music, storytelling and visual art.
The exhibition will open with a special launch event featuring guest speaker Eleanor McSherry, followed by a screening of the film and a Q&A with the artists and producer.
