Meet the author! Tipperary-born writer and animator, Seán Hogan who lives in Helsinki, Finland returns home to launch his latest book Brotherhood. He works in animation as a Storyboard Artist on projects for the likes of Disney, Warner Bros., Nickelodeon, and Apple TV+. His previous books include Rabbit and Paul (2015) and Project Crossroads (2016). In the rural, rolling hills of revolutionary Ireland, 4 teenagers engage in their own fight for freedom. Brotherhood is a darkly comedic tale of youthful rebellion set against the brutal backdrop of the Irish War of Independence. Brotherhood Part 1 of 2 is a 92-page black and white graphic novel set during the violent Irish War of Independence. The book has a full-colour cover, contains 76 pages of story, and is intended for a mature audience. You’ve never seen Irish history explored like this.
