The Sunflower Exhibition holds special significance and is connected to Ukraine's Independence Day as both symbolise resilience, hope, and cultural identity. The sunflower, a national symbol of Ukraine, represents strength and perseverance, much like the journey of Ukrainian refugees who seek to rebuild their lives in new communities.

This exhibition Transforming the Landscape by Josephine Geaney was commissioned by Siga-Hydro to create a body of work inspired by the unique landscape of the Silvermines.
