Thresholds is a photography exhibition by the Nenagh Street Collective exploring the spaces where human experience shifts and transforms – between arrival and departure, familiarity and uncertainty, separation and connection.
Through a series of observations drawn from everyday environments, the exhibition examines how ordinary places can become sites of encounter, exchange and shared memory. Streets, doorways, pathways and public spaces are reimagined as locations where individual stories intersect and communities take shape.
The photographs invite viewers to consider the often unnoticed structures that influence how we move through the world and interact with one another. By focusing on moments of transition and connection, Thresholds reflects on the ways shared spaces shape our experiences, relationships and sense of belonging.
Thoughtful and reflective, the exhibition encourages audiences to pause and consider the boundaries they cross, the places they inhabit and the connections that emerge through everyday encounters.
