HeART of Gaza grew out of a WhatsApp exchange of children's drawings between Mohammed Timraz (Gaza) and Féile Butler (Sligo). Images of soldiers, tanks and bleeding bodies, from artists as young as three, spurred on the friends to create the exhibition as a platform for the most voiceless, the most vulnerable and the most impacted in this genocide.
Edwina Knight is a local artist whose oil paintings are inspired by her experience of swimming in Lough Derg. Each artwork captures the dance of light and colour in the water, reflecting both its serenity and turbulence.
