Edel Meade is one of Ireland's leading jazz vocalists noted for her stunning voice and mesmerising live performances. For this special Bealtaine event, Edel will perform a selection of timeless jazz classics made famous by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Peggy Lee.

Barking Dog's adaptation of the second "Alice" book. Alice meets, among others, a talking flower, Tweedle Dum and Dweedle Dee, Humpty Dumpty, The Red And White Knights, The White Queen and The Red Queen too. Barking Dog's two talented actors (with the help of some puppets and children from the audience) present this exciting tale.

It is a visual dance performance for audiences 4+. With playful energy, impressive acrobatics, comic timing and a joyful soundscape, two dancers create a magical world through the clever manipulation of simple balloons.

Learn how to make a homemade loom from cardboard and create unique woven pieces using plastic, twine, and wool. We will also create beautiful woven vessels made from twine and wool by re-purposing single-use plastic and paper containers.

Come and try out the ancient technique of Paper Marbling. Create stunning patterns on the surface of thickened water, manipulated with a stick or comb to disperse the paint and transfer to paper. This method can be used to make decorative paper for journaling, book covering or just as a stand-alone piece of art.
